A family retreat and a business traveler's dream, Covenant Cove offers accommodations that are an escape to paradise. Relax in a lakeside  or a majestic mountainside room, available with 2 doubles or 1 king. For travelers needing more space, the six executive suites are the place to stay with a semi-private balcony, kitchenette, large bedroom with a king-size bed, and a separate sitting area with a queen-size sofa bed. For a true getaway or executive stay, try the luxurious Hemingway Suite. Your pets are welcome, too.

Covenant Cove Resort's swimming pool is one of the largest private pool in North Alabama.  We maintain crystal clear water for your poolside experience.

Enjoy a stroll through the spacious landscaped grounds which adjoin the lake.  Experience the fountains, lakeside bench swings, sandy peninsula for lake swimming and large shade areas from our century oaks.

Hotel grounds include two large T-docks for fishing,  docking or just enjoying the water in one of our rental kayaks.

Marina Services

Covenant Cove maintains a full service marine shop capable of providing a simple oil change to a complete motor rebuild. Ask about our winterizing service.

Our staff will place your boat in the water when you are ready to launch and carry your boat back to the storage area when you have finished boating for the day.

Trailer parking and power hook-ups are available.  

There are special discounts and privileges for marina members, such as storage bins, sink usage, and restroom facilities.

Whether you are planning a corporate event meeting or a social gathering such as reunions or parties, Covenant Cove is the place to be.

The LeCroix Club offers over 3,000 square feet of entertaining space for accommodating up to 80 guests. Tastefully decorated in a Scottish Motif, this facility provides an exceptional indoor entertaining area. Hosting an event is made simple with the amenities included within this facility. Featured amenities include a 61 inch color television, stereo surround sound, and inset serving area that includes refrigeration. Your guests may wish to relax beside the large stone fireplace located within the LeCroix Club or step onto the 2,100 square foot deck that offers a spectacular view of Guntersville lake.

The Board Room.  Doing business doesn't have to mean settling for ordinary. Host your next conference at Covenant Cove and let us take care of your group. Our board room accommodates approximately 30 to 35 people and provides state-of-the-art electronics to facilitate successful business or sales meetings.  The conference room can be connected to the Hemingway Suite. For larger groups, a conference style set up is also available in our Le Croix Club.

There's lots to do and see!

Guntersville Lake is one of the largest lakes in the Southeast. The lake is comprised of 69,000 acres with over 960 miles of shoreline surrounded by the Appalachian foothills.

Boating  - The lodge has two visitor T-docks along the Lodge Water front that are separate from the Marina area. Trailer parking is available.   110 V power access is available.  Shore power available when boaters supply their own converter.  

Golf  -  There are eight prestigious golf courses nearby.  Spend a relaxing day of golf and them come back home for a great evening of entertainment, drinks, dinner or just plain laying about by the large pool.

Hiking - Whether along the water front or on the many State Park Trails, you will be rewarded with a nature hike you will long remember for its beauty and calm.  The Lodge staff can provide you more information about hiking and sight seeing in the area.

Fishing -  Guntersville is nationally known for Bass Fishing.  We can arrange for a professional guide and his boat to provide you an exceptional day of sports fishing.  You can bring your own boat and launch at the Marina boat ramp.  Fishing is excellent all year long with the best spots in thousands of small coves and inlets found along the lake

Space & Rocket Center  - only 45 minutes away - NASA's Official Visitor Information Center for Marshall Space Flight Center. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is recognized as one of the most comprehensive U.S. manned space flight hardware museums in the world; including Spacedome Theater, Rocket Park, Shuttle Park and NASA's Educator Resource Center. Here visitors may trace the evolution of humankind's ventures into space and watch as tomorrow's potential engineers, scientists and astronauts train in one of the Space Camp or Aviation Challenge Programs.

Cathedral Caverns  -  20 minutes from Covenant Cove, the Caverns entrance opening measures 128 feet wide and 25 feet tall.  Guided tours take you along the wide, wheel chair accessible walkways deep into the interior. Inside the cavern, stalagmites, stalactites and the World's largest stalagmite, called Goliath, that reaches the ceiling of the cave some 45 feet above... a cool treat for the kids! In 1995, Cathedral Caverns provided the cave settings for the Disney Studios film "Tom & Huck".  Archaeological excavations at the mouth of Cathedral Caverns have indicated occupation by Native Americans 2,000 years ago, and perhaps as early as 8000 B.C.
