Guided Hunts for Trophy Deer and Turkey

Fur and Feathers Outfitters, Cut and Rut Lodge is in it's seventh Whitetail Deer and Eastern Turkey hunting season. It has over 4,000 acres of free growth pines with hardwood bottoms and creeks home to deer and turkey. It is located approx. 14 miles west of beautiful Lake Eufaula, Alabama. Being in the black belt hunting region of Alabama, whitetail deer and spring turkey are plentiful. Cut and Rut Lodge is home to 42 food plots and over 55 strategically placed deer stands and tripods along with shooting houses. Climbing stands are also permitted for the adventurous deer hunter.

Fur and Feathers Outfitters quality deer and turkey game management program pays particular attention to age, nutrtition and genetics producing southern trophy whitetail deer and the magnificient eastern turkey. Most of our deer food plots consists of mossy oak biologic, along with high protein supplement feeding for both deer and turkey in the off season. We border the Barbour County Wildlife Management Area, which is well known for its management of big whitetail deer and eastern turkey by the Alabama Division of Wildlife. We work hand in hand with the biologist and the conservation officers to ensure our whitetail deer and gobbler population for the future.

There are plenty of tree stands, along with box blinds. We offer guided or unguided Whitetail Deer and Turkey hunts. If you would like assistance with calling turkey, there is no additional charge for one of our guides to call in your gobbler. All guests will be issued a radio to stay in contact with our hunting guides. All game harvested will be cleaned an quartered. There are plenty of local deer processors available.

Robert Clough has 12 years experience as a professional deer and turkey hunting guide, and a is lifelong hunter. He has managed this acreage and wildlife for 6 years.

Hunting Lodge

Our lodge is family owned and operated, we take great pride in Fur and Feathers Outfitters. You will be welcomed into our lodge with open arms. You will feel the warmth and cozy atmosphere the minute you walk threw the door.

There is bunk style sleeping, 5 to each room. All beds will be made and rooms cleaned every morning. There is a washer and drier for your hunting clothes if they should get wet or soiled. There is cable TV, or relax around a bon fire for some great conversation weather permitting, or a friendly game of darts.

Don't forget to unbuckle your belt a few notches, there will be some of the best Italian and Southern home cooking you have ever eaten. No one has ever left the table hungry. All meals are ready for you when you get back from your hunt, so there is no waiting.
