Historic Oakwood was built in 1847. The owner was Alexander Bowie, who was a lawyer and politician.
After Civil War, Alexander Bowie organized and commanded a "Talladega Mountain Rangers" company.
The Winners Circle RV & primitive campground will be open for the Nascar Spring & Fall races. There is RV power and water hookup with 30amp and 50 amp power available. Dump station on site. Garbage service for each sight provided for at every sight in the park .
