 Welcome to Country Hideaway Bed and Breakfast - a Victorian Inn in AL. We want you to have a safe and enjoyable stay with us.

You will be staying in the 'Gone with the Wind', 'Magnolia', or 'Twins' room. A room key will be provided to you upon arrival; please return it at check out time.

Our home is a no smoking facility; however, you may arrange with us to smoke in an outdoor area location.

There are no computer dial-up connections in your room. If you have an
emergency and need to use your laptop, we can make the arrangements.

Although there are no televisions in the individual rooms, a television
(local Alabama channels) is available for viewing in the sitting area.

There are no phones in the rooms but you can arrange with us should you
have a need to make a call.

VISA and Master Card are accepted.

We require a 72 hours notice if you need to cancel your reservation to stay with us in ALA.

Breakfast is at 8:30 AM unless otherwise arranged.

Scrap Book Retreat Packages:

The Carriage House at the Country Hideaway includes a 600 sq ft meeting room providing ample space for 8-10 scrap bookers. It is equipped with five 5ft round and three 6 ft rectangle tables, a radio/CD and TV/DVD (with a variety of movies and CDs). The house also includes central heat and AC, a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator and a restroom with shower. The Country Hideaway offers 2 and 3 day 'stay and scrap' crop packages that include rooms in the Country Hideaway, a full country breakfast each day, complimentary dessert and coffee/tea each evening and the exclusive use of the Carriage House; or the scrapping room can be reserved for 2 and 3 day crops. Quilting Bee Packages:

The Carriage House is also an excellent facility for quilting. The meeting room can easily accommodate 6 to 8 quilters. (See scrap book retreat package above for house details). Please call to construct a package and obtain pricing.

Romantic Getaway Packages:

Romantic package include rose petal turn-down service with fine chocolates and a long-stemmed red rose on each pillow is provided. Also includes chocolate covered strawberries, candles, a small rose bouquet and sparkling cider.

Luncheons, meetings, showers:

The Country Hideaway and carriage house provide excellent faculties for luncheons, executive retreats and off-sites, social club meetings, wedding or baby showers and other gatherings.

Directions

Although we are hidden in the Autauga County countryside of Alabama, the directions to our bed and breakfast are quite simple.

Directions

Going North on I-65 from Montgomery, AL, take Pine Level exit #186. Turn right on U.S. Route 31N. Travel 4.6 miles north to Ball-Enwright Rd. The turnoff is to the right 7/10 th mile after mile marker 200.

Going South on I-65 from Birmingham, AL, take Clanton exit #205. Turn left on U.S. Route 31S. Travel 16.8 miles south to Ball-Enwright Rd. The turnoff is to the left 3/10th mile after mile marker 201.

Ball-Enwright Roadis a dirt road. Once on Ball-Enwright, follow the blue and white Country Hideaway road signs for about 7/10th miles. You will be traveling beneath the large power lines most of the way.

We are approximately 25 minutes from Montgomery, 10-12 minutes from Prattville, AL, and approximately one hour from Birmingham.
